Ordering from Snip & Sprout

Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when purchasing or reserving plants through this website.

Seller and contract

A submitted order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when Snip & Sprout sends an order-acceptance email or otherwise confirms acceptance. An automated submission receipt or temporary stock reservation does not by itself require acceptance where there is an obvious pricing, stock or technical error. Any payment received for an order that cannot be accepted will be refunded.

Accessories, made-to-order items and digital designs

Accessory listings state whether an item is ready to dispatch, made to order or supplied as a digital STL design. Variant, material, colour, dimensions, included components, price and expected processing time are shown before checkout where applicable. Made-to-order work does not begin until payment is confirmed.

Digital designs are supplied for personal use under the licence shown at checkout and with the download. Unless a separate licence expressly says otherwise, the file may not be shared, uploaded, resold or used to sell printed copies. Copyright remains with Snip & Sprout.

Descriptions and living products

Plants are living products and natural variation is expected. Exact-plant photographs identify the plant where stated. Colours, leaf position and appearance can change during growth and transport. Nothing in these terms permits goods to be materially different from their description.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Postage and the amount due are shown before the order is placed. Payment must use the chosen method and unique reference. Orders may be cancelled if payment is not received within the stated or otherwise reasonable period.

Discount codes

Return-customer codes are unique, single use, linked to the email address from the qualifying order, valid for 12 months, and apply only to eligible available plants. They do not reduce postage, preorder reservation payments or outstanding preorder balances. Codes have no cash value and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

Availability and fulfilment

Stock is validated and reserved on the server. If an error means an item cannot be supplied, the customer will be contacted and any payment for that item will be refunded. Unless a different timeframe is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days.

Ready accessory quantities are reserved in the same way as other physical stock. Made-to-order capacity and the listing’s processing estimate are checked before acceptance. A digital-only order has no physical packing slip or postage charge; a mixed physical and digital order uses the normal physical-order postage and may list the digital item on the packing slip for reference.

Weather and dispatch safety

Dispatch may be delayed where temperature, severe weather, postal disruption or plant health makes shipping unsafe. Customers will be informed of a material delay and may exercise any cancellation rights that apply.

Consumer rights

These terms do not exclude or restrict statutory rights. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known. For distance sales, the usual 14-day cancellation right applies unless a lawful exception applies, including where particular living goods are liable to deteriorate rapidly. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods remain protected regardless of any change-of-mind exception. Any term that conflicts with mandatory consumer law is disapplied to that extent.

A customer who asks for a digital download to begin during the cancellation period must expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that the cancellation right is lost once supply begins. That acknowledgement does not remove statutory remedies where digital content is faulty or not as described. Any made-to-order exception is applied only where the item is genuinely made to the customer’s specification or clearly personalised.

Complaints and contact

Problems should be reported promptly through the contact page with the order reference and clear photographs where relevant. Complaints will be handled fairly and within a reasonable time.

Important: Please read the Shipping Policy, Returns Policy and, for reservations, the Preorder Terms before ordering.
