Epipremnum Pinnatum • Baltic Blue
Please wait while the plant information is loaded.
Light
Bright, indirect light (Can tolerate medium light, but fenestration or shimmer may reduce)
Watering
Water when top inch of soil is dry. Avoid soggy soil.
Feeding and fertiliser
Feed every 4–6 weeks during active growth at quarter to half strength. Do not fertilise fresh unrooted cuttings.
Potting mix
40% coarse orchid bark, 30% potting mix, 20% perlite, 10% worm castings
Propagation
Node-bearing stem cuttings or air layering
Support notes
Moss poles encourage fenestration and mature leaf development, significantly improving cutting quality and aesthetics.
Additional care notes
Use a moss pole to encourage fenestration and mature leaf forms. Cebu Blue has a silvery juvenile look that deepens with age.
Mature size
A climbing or trailing vine that can readily reach 1.5–3 m indoors. Leaves become larger and more mature when the plant is trained upwards.
Dormancy and winter growth
No true dormancy is normally required indoors. Growth may slow during the darker UK winter, so reduce watering and feeding in line with the plant's actual growth rate.
