Syngonium Podophyllum • Orm Nagpum Variegata
Please wait while the plant information is loaded.
Light
Bright, indirect light (Variegated forms may fade in low light)
Watering
Water when top inch of soil is dry
Feeding and fertiliser
Feed every 4–6 weeks during active growth at quarter to half strength. Do not fertilise fresh unrooted cuttings.
Potting mix
40% coarse orchid bark, 30% potting mix, 20% perlite, 10% worm castings
Propagation
Stem cuttings
Support notes
Moss poles transform Syngoniums — mature arrow leaves, bushier growth, and better cuttings.
Additional care notes
Variegated types benefit from higher light and humidity. Support poles help mature growth.
Mature size
Mature indoor size varies with the species, support, light and root space. Expect gradual development into a fuller specimen rather than a fixed final size.
Dormancy and winter growth
No true dormancy is normally required indoors. Growth may slow during the darker UK winter, so reduce watering and feeding in line with the plant's actual growth rate.
